Modern Day Slavery Policy

Purpose

This policy is applicable across the entire company.

​This aim of this policy is to eradicate all acts of modern slavery from our own business and from within our supply chain. 

2.​ Policy

The Company acknowledges responsibility under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will ensure transparency within the Company and with suppliers of goods and services to the Company.

​​Servitude

Forced and compulsory labour

​​Human trafficking

The Company shall ensure adherence and compliance with legislation, policies and practices through due diligence and the auditing process.

3​. Enforcement of this Policy

The Company shall prepare an annual statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 outlining the steps being taken to ensure both the Company and its supply chain are free of slavery.

In compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, the Company is committed to driving out acts of modern day slavery from within its own business and from within its supply chains.  The Company acknowledges responsibility to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will ensure transparency within the organisation and with suppliers of goods and services to the organisation.

The Company specialises in the processing of beef, pork and associated products.  We are committed to the delivery of quality products and service and improving customer satisfaction.

The Company is committed to social, ethical and environmental responsibility and we work closely with our customers and members of our supply chain to prevent slavery and human trafficking. 

Within the supply chain there are relationships with external businesses for the sourcing of products as well as the suppliers of services who make up the supply chains within the Company.  

The Company will not support or deal with any business knowingly involved in slavery or human trafficking.

The Managing Director shall take responsibility for implementing this policy statement and its objectives and shall provide adequate resources (including training) and investment to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within the Company in its supply chains.
